    The Tempozan Ferris Wheel is a 5-minute walk from Osakako Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line. From Osaka Station, take the Osaka Loop Line to Bentencho Station, then transfer to the Chuo Subway Line. The total fare is approximately ¥400. From Namba Station, take the Midosuji Line to Hommachi Station, then transfer to the Chuo Subway Line for approximately ¥280.

  • Bus

    Take the Osaka City Bus Route 88 or 60 and get off at the Tempozan Stop, which is close to the Ferris wheel.

  • Car

    If driving, use the Tempozan Marketplace parking lot next to the Ferris wheel. Parking fees are approximately ¥200 for 30 minutes on weekdays (with a maximum of ¥1,200) and ¥250 for 30 minutes on weekends and holidays.

Located in Tempozan Harbor Village, next to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel is a prominent Osaka landmark. Built in 1997 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Port of Osaka, it stands 112.5 meters tall and 100 meters in diameter. From the top, riders can see Osaka Bay, Mount Ikoma, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Kansai International Airport, and the Rokko Mountains on a clear day. The Ferris wheel has 60 cabins, each accommodating up to eight people, with a few featuring transparent floors for a thrilling experience. Three cabins are wheelchair accessible. At night, the wheel is illuminated with colorful LED lights that also display the weather forecast for the following day: orange for sunny, green for cloudy, and blue for rain. Tempozan Harbor Village offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions, including the Tempozan Marketplace and the Santa Maria cruise ship. The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is right next door. The Tempozan Ferris Wheel provides a unique perspective of Osaka and is a memorable experience for all ages.
