Was incredibly fortunate to visit Potan for a sake pairing session. The owner is wonderful host and talked each of us through the different types of sake, as well as the delicious paired food dishes. It’s a must-visit. If you’re a sake lover like me, you’ll be in your element. If you’ve never tasted sake for, you’ll be a convert. I’ve travelled to Japan a lot so I often get asked for itinerary ideas. Potan has made the list for any of my friends visiting Osaka. The venue would be great for a date night or a larger group experience.

Mico took exceptional care of us and made our time in Japan truly memorable. He was incredibly flexible with our needs, deeply knowledgeable about Japanese culture, and helped us confidently navigate the train system with ease. What really set him apart was his ability to show us hidden gems and local spots we never would have found on our own. We covered an incredible amount in just half a day in Kyoto and Osaka, and it never felt rushed. Mico is kind-hearted, thoughtful, and passionate about what he does — truly a fantastic tour guide.
