If driving from central Osumi, head towards Route 3 and continue south for approximately 30 km until you reach Satsumasendai. Follow the signs for Irikicho, and then look for signs pointing to Nagano Falls, located in Irikicho Uranomyo. Parking is available near the falls.
Public Transport
To reach Nagano Falls using public transportation, take a bus from central Osumi to Satsumasendai from the Osumi bus terminal. This bus ride takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Transfer to a local bus heading towards Irikicho and inform the driver that you want to go to Nagano Falls, or look for the bus stop that says 'Nagano Falls' (長野滝). The bus fare for the whole journey is around ¥600-¥800. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the falls.
