Ogawa Falls is best accessed by car, approximately 2 hours from Kagoshima City. From Kagoshima Chuo Station, take the Sakurajima Ferry or Tarumizu Ferry. After disembarking, follow the signs to Ogawa Falls. The final stretch involves driving on narrow roads. Parking is available near the trailhead. Be aware that there may be separate parking lots for upper and downstream access. Parking is free.

Public Transport & Walking
While there is no direct public transportation to Ogawa Falls , you can take a bus from Kagoshima Airport to Kanoya City, which takes about 1.5 hours and costs around ¥2100. From Kanoya City, a taxi to Ogawa Falls costs approximately ¥8000 each way. Alternatively, a sightseeing bus operates from Nejime Port between March and November. From the parking lot, it's a 1.2km walk along a well-maintained trail to the falls.
