Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Sado, which is located in the center of the island. From Sado, take Route 350 north towards Akitsu. Continue on Route 350 for approximately 30 minutes. As you approach Akitsu, look for signs directing you to Sado Airport. The airport is located at 1814-3 Akitsu, which will be on your right. Once you arrive, you can park in the designated airport parking area.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sado's main bus terminal. Look for the bus heading towards Akitsu. The bus ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as buses may not run frequently. Once you arrive at the Akitsu bus stop, it is about a 10-minute walk to Sado Airport. Follow the signs directing you to the airport, and you will arrive at the terminal in no time.
