Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car from central Sagami, head south on Route 129. Continue on Route 129 for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through several traffic lights and residential areas. Watch for signs directing you towards Sagamihara Park. Once you arrive at the intersection with Route 16, turn left. Continue driving for about 2 kilometers. The park will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, but be prepared to pay a small fee, usually around 500 yen.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    To reach Sagamihara Park using public transportation, start at Sagami Station. Take the JR Sagami Line towards Hashimoto Station. Get off at the next stop, which is Kamiyabe Station (about a 5-minute ride). From Kamiyabe Station, exit and head towards the bus stop. Board the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus number 92, which will take you directly to Sagamihara Park. The bus ride is approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to have around 220 yen for the bus fare.
