Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Sagami. Navigate to Route 129 and head east towards Chuo Expressway. Take the exit for Route 46 towards Sagamihara. Continue on Route 46 and follow the signs to Lake Sagami Park. The park is located at 317-1 Yose, Midori Ward, Sagamihara, Kanagawa 252-0171. There is a parking lot available for visitors, which may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Lake Sagami Park using public transportation, start by taking the Sagami Railway (Sotetsu) from Sagami Station. Travel towards Hashimoto Station and transfer to the JR Chuo Line. From Hashimoto Station, take the bus heading to Lake Sagami Park (Sagami Koen). The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may vary on weekends. The fare for the bus is around 400 yen.
Walking from Bus Stop
Once you arrive at the Lake Sagami Park bus stop, you will be just a short walk away from the park entrance. Follow the path leading from the bus stop towards the lake, and you will arrive at the park within 5 minutes. Make sure to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
