Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Sanuki city center and take Route 11 towards Kamiyama. Drive for approximately 30 minutes, then follow signs for Kamiyama. Once you reach Kamiyama, continue on Route 32 and look for signs directing you to Tani Jinryo. The waterfalls are located in a scenic area, and you'll need to park at the designated parking lot nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Sanuki City to Kamiyama. You can catch the bus at the Sanuki Station. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Kamiyama, you may need to take a local taxi or an additional bus to reach Tani Jinryo. Ensure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may not run frequently. The taxi ride from the Kamiyama bus stop to the waterfalls will take around 15 minutes and may cost approximately 1,500 yen.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the parking area or bus stop closest to the waterfalls, be prepared for a steep hike. The trek to Amagoi Waterfalls takes about 30 minutes. It's recommended to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry water, as the trail can be challenging. Follow the marked paths and enjoy the surrounding nature as you approach the stunning falls.
