Getting there

Walking

From JR Tokushima Station, walk south for approximately 10 minutes towards the Awa Odori Kaikan. The Bizan Ropeway station is located on the 5th floor of the Awa Odori Kaikan. Follow signs within the building to the ropeway. A single ride is ¥620 for adults, or ¥1030 for a round trip.

Public Transport

From Tokushima Station, take a local bus (Route 7 or Route 8) towards Bizan Park. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Bizan Ropeway bus stop. The ropeway station is a short walk from the bus stop. Bus fare is approximately ¥210. A single ropeway ride is ¥620 for adults, or ¥1030 for a round trip.

From Tokushima Station, a taxi to the Awa Odori Kaikan (Bizan Ropeway station) takes approximately 5 minutes. Expect to pay around ¥700-¥900. A single ropeway ride is ¥620 for adults, or ¥1030 for a round trip.
