    From Tonosho Port, take a bus towards Kusakabe Port, then transfer to the Kankake Line bus to Kountei (lower ropeway station). Buses from Ikeda Port and Kusakabe Port also connect to Kountei, but service may be limited depending on the season. Bus fares from the ports to Kountei are approximately ¥300.

    Taxis are available from Shodoshima's ports. A taxi from Kusakabe Port to the Kountei ropeway station costs around ¥2500. Taxi fares vary depending on the distance from other ports.
