Getting There

  • Car

    From central Sanuki, head southeast on Route 11 towards Zentsuji. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the intersection with Route 32. Turn left onto Route 32 and follow the signs toward Zentsuji. After about 5 km, take the exit toward Yoshiwaracho. Once on Yoshiwaracho, continue straight for about 1 km until you see Mandara-ji on your right at 1380-1 Yoshiwaracho, Zentsuji. Parking is available on-site.

    From Sanuki Station, take the JR Takamatsu Line to Zentsuji Station. The train ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 320 yen. Upon arrival at Zentsuji Station, exit the station and take the Kagawa Chuo Bus (Line 21) towards Yoshiwara. Get off at the Yoshiwaracho bus stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Mandara-ji, located at 1380-1 Yoshiwaracho. Follow the main road straight and look for the temple on your right.
