If you are driving to the Gate in the Sky, start on Route 11 (Kagawa Prefectural Route 11) from your location in Shikoku. Follow the signs for Kanonji city, and as you approach Kanonji, take the exit for Takayacho. Continue on Takayacho Road until you reach 2800 Takayacho, Kanonji, Kagawa 768-0001. There is parking available near the site. Note that you may encounter tolls (approximately 500-1000 yen) depending on your route.

To reach the Gate in the Sky using public transportation, take a train to Kanonji Station. If you're coming from Takamatsu, use the JR Yosan Line to reach Kanonji Station. From Kanonji Station, take the local bus (Kanonji City Bus) towards Takayacho. You will need to disembark at the stop closest to 2800 Takayacho. The bus fare is approximately 400 yen. From there, it is a short walk to the Gate in the Sky.
