If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Sanuki. Head northwest on Route 11 (National Route 11) towards Takamatsu. After approximately 15 minutes, take the exit toward Nagaonishi. Follow the signs for Nagaonishi and continue straight for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Nagao Temple (Nagaō-ji) as you approach. The temple is located at 653 Nagaonishi, Sanuki, Kagawa 769-2302. There's parking available near the temple, which is free of charge.

To reach Nagao Temple using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Sanuki Station. Look for a bus bound for Nagaonishi, which typically runs every 30 minutes. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Nagaonishi Bus Stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the temple. Follow the signs directing you to Nagao Temple. Note that the bus fare is around 500 yen one way.
