Public Transport
From Sapporo Station, take the Tozai Subway Line to Maruyama Koen Station. From there, transfer to the JR Hokkaido Bus (Asahiyama Koen Line, No. 13) and ride for approximately 15 minutes to Asahiyama Koen-mae bus stop. The park entrance is a 4-minute walk from the bus stop. Subway fare is approximately ¥200-¥360. The bus fare is approximately ¥210 for adults.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Sapporo. A taxi from Sapporo Station to Asahiyama Memorial Park takes approximately 8 minutes and costs between ¥2600 and ¥3200. Taxi fares in Sapporo start at ¥670 for the first 1,463 meters, with an additional ¥80 for every 276 meters. Note that a 20% surcharge applies between 10 PM and 5 AM.
Driving
Asahiyama Memorial Park is approximately a 20-minute drive from central Sapporo. Parking is available at the park. Parking is open from 6:00 to 22:00 and is free.
