Walking
From Sapporo Station, Hokkaido University is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Exit the station from the north side and walk straight along the main road (Kita 5 Jo-dori). You will pass the Century Royal Hotel on your right. Continue straight, and you'll reach the university's main entrance. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
From Sapporo Station, take the Namboku Subway Line one stop to Kita 12-jo Station. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the university. The subway fare is ¥200 for adults. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Sapporo Station to a bus stop near the university. Bus fares typically range from ¥210-240.
Taxi
A taxi from Sapporo Station to Hokkaido University takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is ¥700-¥1000. Taxis are readily available at the station's taxi stands.
