Public Bus
From Sapporo Station, head to the Sapporo Bus Terminal located in the same building. Look for the bus company 'Chitose Kotsu' which operates buses to Lake Shikotsuko. Purchase a ticket to 'Shikotsuko' from the ticket counter or the machines. Buses depart regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Shikotsuko bus stop, the Lake Shikotsuko Visitor Center is a short walk from the bus stop.

Train and Bus
Take the JR Chitose Line from Sapporo Station to Chitose Station (approximately 40 minutes). Once at Chitose Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located just outside. Look for the bus heading to 'Shikotsuko' or 'Shikotsuko Onsen'. Purchase your ticket from the machine or at the ticket counter. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Shikotsuko' bus stop, and the Visitor Center is a short walk from there.
