The observation deck, standing 90.38 meters above ground, provides a 360-degree panoramic view of Sapporo. To the west, visitors can see Mount Teine and the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, while the east offers views of the Toyohira River and Ishikari Plain. Inside the tower, visitors can find souvenir shops and restaurants, including a gourmet court in the basement that connects to the Aurora Town underground shopping street. The tower is illuminated from sundown to midnight, with its digital clocks, installed in 1961, adding to its charm. These clocks were donated by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. and have been updated with LED lights.
