Getting There

Walking
From the center of Maruyama Park, head towards the main path that runs through the park. Follow the path until you reach the T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left and continue walking straight. You will come across the entrance gate of Hokkaido Jingu on your left after about 10 minutes of walking. The address is 474 Miyagaoka, Chuo Ward, Sapporo. Keep an eye out for the large torii gate marking the entrance to the shrine.

Public Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the entrance of Maruyama Park. Board the bus number 15, which is heading towards 'Miyagaoka'. The bus ride takes about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Hokkaido Jingu' stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Hokkaido Jingu, which is just a couple of minutes away. Note that the bus fare is approximately 210 yen.
