Public Transport

From Kagoshima-Chuo Station, take the JR Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line approximately 20 minutes to Jigenji Station. From Jigenji Station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the park. The train fare is approximately ¥300. Kagoshima City also has city buses that stop near the park. The minimum fare for adults is ¥180. A one-day travel card valid on the tram and city bus costs ¥600.

If you are staying in the vicinity, Jigenji Park is within walking distance from Kagoshima's central area. From the Jigenji Station, walk straight, and you will find the park in 10 minutes.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Kagoshima. A short taxi ride from Kagoshima-Chuo Station to Jigenji Park will cost approximately ¥2,000-¥3,000. The meter starts at ¥560.

Driving

Jigenji Park is a short drive from Kagoshima City center. Parking is available near the park. However, parking availability may be limited. There are parking lots near Kagoshima Chuo Station. Kagoshima Chuo-eki Nishiguchi Dai2 Chusha-jo charges ¥100 per 30 minutes during the day and ¥100 per 60 minutes at night. Amu Plaza Kagoshima Car Park costs ¥700 for 24 hours.
