From JR Nobeoka Station, take the Miyazaki Kotsu Bus to Takachiho Bus Center (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes). From there, transfer to the Takachiho Community Bus and ride for 15 minutes to the 'Kunimigaoka' bus stop, followed by a 2-minute walk to the platform. Bus schedules should be checked in advance. A one-way bus fare from Nobeoka Station to Takachiho Bus Center is approximately ¥1,780.

Car

From Fukuoka, take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) towards Kumamoto. Exit at the Takachiho IC (Interchange) and follow Route 218 southbound for about 30 km until you reach Takachiho. Follow the signs to Kunimigaoka Viewing Platform, located about 10 minutes (6 km) from the town center. Free parking is available on-site. Note that the expressway toll from Fukuoka to Takachiho is approximately ¥2,000.

It's a year-round destination, with each season offering a unique perspective, from vibrant greens in the summer to golden hues in the autumn.
