Walking
From the Tenmonkan downtown area, head north towards Kagoshima City Hall. Minato Odori Park is located directly in front of the City Hall. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes and is free.

Take the Kagoshima City Tram to the Kagoshima City Hall stop. The park entrance is right by the tram stop. The tram fare is ¥170 for adults and ¥80 for children. A one-day pass for unlimited rides on the tram and city buses is available for ¥600.
