Driving

If driving from Kirishima City, follow the main roads towards Makizonocho Takachiho. The viewpoint is located off a local road in the area. Parking is likely available near the viewpoint. Be aware that parking may be limited during peak seasons. Parking is free.

Public Transport

From JR Kirishima Jingu Station, infrequent buses operate to the Kirishima Onsen area. From there, you may need to take a taxi to reach the viewpoint, as bus service directly to the viewpoint may be limited. A taxi from Kirishima Onsen to the viewpoint may cost approximately ¥2,000 - ¥3,000. A one-day bus ticket that includes Kirishima Jingu Shrine is 1100 yen for adults.
