From JR Kirishima Jingu Station, infrequent buses operate to the Kirishima Onsen area. From there, you may need to take a taxi to reach the viewpoint, as bus service directly to the viewpoint may be limited. A taxi from Kirishima Onsen to the viewpoint may cost approximately ¥2,000 - ¥3,000. A one-day bus ticket that includes Kirishima Jingu Shrine is 1100 yen for adults.
