Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Satsuma and head northwest on Route 3 towards Kagoshima. Continue on Route 3 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 10. At this junction, take a left onto Route 10 and follow the signs for Kagoshima. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Waterfront Park. Turn right onto Honkoshinmachi and you'll find the park at 5-4 Honkoshinmachi, Kagoshima. There is parking available near the park, which may incur a fee of around 500 yen for the day.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, you can take the Kagoshima City Bus from Satsuma. Board a bus heading towards Kagoshima and ask the driver for the stop nearest to Waterfront Park. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. The bus fare is around 600 yen. Once you arrive at the stop, walk for about 10 minutes towards Honkoshinmachi. Follow the directional signs towards the park, which is located at 5-4 Honkoshinmachi, Kagoshima.

• Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

  Alternatively, you can take a train from Satsuma to Kagoshima Chuo Station. Once at Kagoshima Chuo Station, exit and head to the bus terminal located nearby. From there, board a bus that goes to Waterfront Park. The total travel time, including train and bus transfers, is approximately 1 hour. The train fare is about 500 yen, and the bus fare is around 200 yen. Ensure you check the bus schedule for the most convenient timing.
