Getting There

Car

If you are driving from central Satsuma, head towards Route 3. Follow this road heading south for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 225. Turn left onto Route 225 and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Mount Shiroyama. Turn right onto Shiroyamacho, and after about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at Mount Shiroyama (22 Shiroyamacho, Kagoshima, 892-0853). There is parking available at the site, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation

To reach Mount Shiroyama via public transport, start at Satsuma Station. Take the Kagoshima City Bus on Route 12 towards Shiroyamacho. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
