Ebisubashi Bridge: The Heart of Dotonbori

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Settsu, start by heading west on Route 170 (Kinki Expressway). Follow the signs for Osaka and continue for about 14 kilometers. Take the exit toward Shinsaibashi/Dotonbori. After exiting, merge onto Route 1 and follow the signs for Dotonbori. You will find parking options nearby, but note that parking fees may apply (approximately 500 to 1000 yen per hour). Once parked, Ebisubashi Bridge is a short walk away.

• Train

  From Settsu Station, take the JR Gakkentoshi Line towards Kyobashi Station (approximately 20 minutes). At Kyobashi Station, transfer to the Osaka Loop Line and ride to Namba Station (about 10 minutes). Upon exiting Namba Station, follow the signs to Dotonbori. Ebisubashi Bridge is located about a 10-minute walk from the station. The total train fare is around 400 yen.

• Bus

  Take the city bus from Settsu to Dotonbori. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and check the schedule for routes heading to Namba Station. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Namba bus terminal, Ebisubashi Bridge is within a 10-minute walking distance. The bus fare is typically around 300 yen.

• Taxi

  For a more convenient option, consider taking a taxi directly to Ebisubashi Bridge. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes from central Settsu, depending on traffic. Taxi fares may vary but expect to pay around 3,000 to 4,000 yen.
