Car
If you're driving, head to the Settsu area and take the Route 170 towards Takatsuki. Continue on Route 170 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 1. Follow the signage for Route 1 towards Takatsuki. Once in Takatsuki, follow signs for Hara. Settsukyo Gorge is located in Hara, Takatsuki, Osaka 569-1051. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that it may require a small fee, typically around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
To reach Settsukyo Gorge using public transport, first take the JR Kyoto Line from Osaka Station or Umeda Station to Takatsuki Station. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 400 yen. Once you arrive at Takatsuki Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take the bus labeled 'Hara,' which will take you closer to Settsukyo Gorge. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare is usually around 300 yen. Get off at the 'Hara' stop, and from there, it's a short walk to the gorge.
