Car
If you are traveling by car from Settsu to Universal Studios Japan, first head southwest on Route 170 (also known as the Kinki Expressway) from Settsu. Continue on Route 170 for approximately 18 kilometers. Follow the signs for 'Universal Studios Japan' and exit at the Universal City exit. Once you exit, follow the local signs to reach the parking area for Universal Studios Japan. Please note that parking fees will apply, typically around ¥2,500 per day.
Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Universal Studios Japan using public transportation, start by making your way to the nearest train station in Settsu. Board the Hankyu Takarazuka Line at Settsu Station heading towards Umeda (Osaka). After approximately 23 minutes, transfer at Umeda Station to the JR Osaka Loop Line. Take the train towards Nishi-Kujo Station (about 6 minutes). At Nishi-Kujo, transfer to the JR Yumesaki Line, which will take you directly to Universal-City Station (approximately 5 minutes). Once you arrive at Universal-City Station, follow the signs to Universal Studios Japan, which is a short walk away. The total cost for this journey is around ¥600.
