Car
From Takamatsu, take the Takamatsu Expressway (Kagawa Route) heading towards Sakaide. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Sakaide and follow the signs for Route 11. Continue on Route 11 for about 8 kilometers, then turn left onto the road leading to Shamijima. The museum will be on your left at 224-13 Shamijima, Sakaide, Kagawa 762-0066. Note that parking is available on-site.

Train and Bus
Start at Takamatsu Station and take the JR Yosan Line towards Okayama. Get off at Sakaide Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Sakaide Station, take a local bus (Sakaide City Bus) bound for Shamijima and get off at the Higashiyama Kaii Setouchi Art Museum stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is around 500 yen.
