Follow the expressway and take the exit towards Onomichi. From Onomichi, continue to Takehara City. After reaching Takehara, look for signs that direct you to Ōkunoshima. You will need to park your car at the Takehara Port, where you can then take a ferry to Ōkunoshima. Be aware that parking fees at the port may apply, generally around 500 yen for a day.

    For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from your location in Shikoku to Mihara Station. You can use the Shikoku Railway Company (JR Shikoku) to reach Mihara.
