Car
If you are driving to Shimonada Station, head towards Iyo city in Ehime Prefecture. Use the expressway to reach Matsuyama and take the Matsuyama Expressway. After approximately 30 minutes, exit at the Iyo Interchange. From there, take Prefectural Route 12, which will lead you directly to Futamicho Okubo. Follow the signs to Shimonada Station, which is located at 33.6551644 latitude and 132.5893398 longitude. Parking is available near the station.
Train
If you are taking the train, you can start your journey from Matsuyama Station, which is a major hub in the region. Board the Yosan Line bound for Takamatsu. After about an hour, get off at Iyo Station. From Iyo Station, transfer to the local Iyo Railway and board a train towards Shimonada Station. This last leg of the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Please note that the train schedules vary, so check the latest timetable in advance. A one-way ticket from Matsuyama Station to Shimonada Station costs around ¥700.
Bus
For those preferring public transportation by bus, take a highway bus from Matsuyama to Iyo city. The bus journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Iyo, switch to a local bus that operates in the area. Buses towards Shimonada Station are available, but be sure to check the schedule as they may not run frequently. The bus fare is typically around ¥500 from Iyo city to Shimonada Station. Make sure to have cash ready, as not all buses may accept credit cards.
