    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nakanojo Station, take the Kanetsu Kotsu bus bound for Shima Onsen. Alight at the Shima Onsen Bus Terminal. From there, you will need to walk or rent a bicycle to get to Hinatami Park, as there is no public transportation available further north. The park is located approximately 3km from the bus terminal. Bus fare from Nakanojo Station to Shima Onsen Bus Terminal is approximately ¥930.

    Car

    If driving, navigate to Shima Onsen. From the Shima Onsen area, follow the road towards Lake Okushima; Hinatami Park is located along this route. Free parking is available near Hinatami Yakushido Temple. Note that the roads can be narrow in some areas.

Legend says that in 989, a warrior named Usui Sadamitsu had a dream where a mountain god told him about a spring source that could cure 40,000 illnesses. This led to the construction of a worship hall, which was rebuilt in 1598 by Sanada Nobuyuki. The park offers a relaxing atmosphere with opportunities for leisurely strolls surrounded by forests. Visitors can enjoy facilities such as Gomuso no Yu, a local bathing facility, and a free foot bath.
