Getting There

Walking
From Keihan Uji Station, walk north towards the Uji Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the riverbank. Follow the signs towards Tachibana Bridge, which connects to Tachibana Island and then Tō-no-shima Island. The walk from Keihan Uji Station to Tō-no-shima Island is approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no tolls or entrance fees for accessing the island.

Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to JR Uji Station. From JR Uji Station, walk towards the Uji River and follow the path north towards Uji Bridge. Cross the Uji Bridge, and continue along the riverside path to Tachibana Bridge, which leads to Tō-no-shima Island. The bus fare from Kyoto Station to Uji Station is approximately ¥240, and the walk to the island takes around 20-25 minutes. There are no additional fees to access the island.
