Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Kintetsu Ugata Station, take a taxi to Yokoyama Observatory. The ride is approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk from Shima-Yokoyama Station, which is about 2.5 kilometers from the observatory, taking either the Cherry Blossom Route (35 minutes) or the Kinki Nature Trail Route (40 minutes). Taxi fare from Ugata Station is around ¥1,500 - ¥2,000.

    From the Toba Minami-Shiraki IC on the Daini-Ise Road, it's approximately a 25-minute drive to Yokoyama Observatory. Follow Route 167 and turn west at the Yokoyama Kita or Yokoyamaguchi traffic lights, following the 'Cherry blossom route'. Parking is available at the Yokoyama View Point Parking Lot (28 spaces) or the Sozo-no-Mori Parking Lot (50 spaces). Parking is free.
