Car
If you're driving from central Shima, take Route 42 heading north. Follow the signs for Aioi Bridge as you approach Hiroshima. The bridge is located at 22-1 Motomachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0011. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the lot you choose.
Public Transportation
To reach Aioi Bridge using public transportation, start by taking the Kintetsu or JR train from Shima to Hiroshima Station. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Hiroshima Station, transfer to the Hiroshima Tram (Line 1 or Line 2) and get off at the 'Hondori' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Aioi Bridge. As of now, the tram fare from Hiroshima Station to Hondori is around 200 yen.
