Car
If you're driving from central Shima, head north on Route 42 towards Ise. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 23. Merge onto Route 23 heading towards Tsu. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Matsusaka/Ise and merge onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 until you see signs for Hiroshima. After around 90 kilometers, take the exit towards Nakajimacho, Naka Ward. The Flame of Peace is located at 1 Nakajimacho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima. Look for the large parking area nearby, which may incur a fee of around 500 yen for a few hours.

Public Transportation
From Shima, take the Kintetsu Line train towards Tsu Station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. At Tsu Station, transfer to the JR Line heading for Hiroshima Station. This leg of the journey will take around 2 hours. Once you arrive at Hiroshima Station, take the Astram Line (Hiroshima New Transit) towards Kencho-mae Station. Get off at Kencho-mae Station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Flame of Peace. Follow the signs to Nakajimacho, and you will find the landmark at 1 Nakajimacho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima. Note that train fares will vary, but you should budget around 3,000 yen for the total journey.
