Car
If you're driving, head southeast on Route 145 from Shima. Follow the signs towards Nakanojo. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto Route 353. Continue for about 5 km until you see signs for Sekizenkan Kashoutei. The inn will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Sekizenkan Kashoutei using public transport, first, take a local bus from Shima Station to Nakanojo Station. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around ¥500. From Nakanojo Station, take a taxi to Sekizenkan Kashoutei, which is about a 10-minute drive. Taxi fare should be approximately ¥1,500. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited.
Walking
For those who prefer walking, if you are staying nearby, you can reach Sekizenkan Kashoutei by walking from the nearest bus stop. Follow the signs towards the inn. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop along a scenic route through the area, but be prepared for some elevation changes.
