By Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any location in Shima, and head south on Route 353. Follow the signs for Shima Onsen. After about a 5-minute drive, you will arrive at the parking area near Shima Onsen Public Baths located at 3830-1 Shima, Nakanojo, Agatsuma District, Gunma 377-0601. Parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared for that.
By Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin at Shima Onsen Station (Shima Onsen Eki). From the station, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach the Shima Onsen Public Baths. The bus typically runs every 30 minutes and costs around 300 yen. If you prefer a taxi, the fare will be approximately 1,000 yen and will take around 10 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver the destination: 'Shima Onsen Public Baths'.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying nearby, you can also walk from Shima Onsen town. The public baths are about a 20-minute walk from the center of Shima Onsen.
