Car
If you are driving to Shima Yamaguchikan, start from the center of Shima. Navigate to Route 145, which will take you towards Nakanojo. Continue on Route 145 for about 10 kilometers. Follow the signs for Shima and keep an eye out for the Yamaguchikan which is located at 甲3876-1 Shima, Nakanojo, Agatsuma District, Gunma 377-0601. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Shima Yamaguchikan via public transportation, first take the JR Agatsuma Line to Nakanojo Station. Upon arrival at Nakanojo Station, you can take a local bus towards Shima Onsen. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Shima Onsen' bus stop, and from there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Shima Yamaguchikan at 甲3876-1 Shima, Nakanojo, Agatsuma District, Gunma 377-0601. Please check the bus schedule ahead of time to ensure timely connections, as service may vary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nakanojo Station to Shima Yamaguchikan. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around 2,000 to 3,000 yen, depending on traffic conditions and the exact pickup point.
