Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Shima and head north on Route 353. Follow the signs for Nakanojo. After about 10 km, you will reach a junction; keep left to continue on Route 145. After approximately 5 km, you will see signs for Toshimaya on your right. Turn right onto the access road and follow it for about 1 km until you reach the inn. Parking is available on-site, so you shouldn't face any issues finding a spot.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Toshimaya using public transportation, start at the Shima Onsen bus terminal. Take the bus bound for Nakanojo. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Shima stop (志摩). From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to Toshimaya. Exit the bus terminal, head north along the main road (Route 353), and look for signs directing you to Toshimaya. Be mindful that bus schedules can vary, so it’s advisable to check the latest timetable ahead of your trip.

If you're coming from a more distant location, take a train to Nakanojo Station. Once you arrive, head to the Nakanojo bus terminal, which is adjacent to the station. From there, take a bus heading to Shima Onsen. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Shima stop (志摩). From the bus stop, you can walk to Toshimaya, which takes around 15 minutes. Follow the main road north and keep an eye out for the inn on your right.
