Walking
Banna-ji Temple is easily accessible on foot from both JR Ashikaga Station and Tobu Ashikagashi Station. From JR Ashikaga Station (Ryomo Line), exit the north side and walk south for approximately 10 minutes. From Tobu Ashikagashi Station (Isesaki Line), walk southwest for about 15 minutes. The temple is located in the city center and is well-signposted.

If arriving from other cities in Tochigi, such as Tochigi City, take the JR Ryomo Line to Ashikaga Station. The train journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes and costs ¥490-¥700. From Ashikaga Station, follow the walking directions to the temple. Note that there are hourly direct train services.

For those arriving by car, free parking is available at the Taiheikikan Tourist Center Car Park near the Ashikaga School, a short walk from Banna-ji Temple. The car park accommodates 20-30 vehicles. From the Ashikaga Interchange on the Kita Kanto Expressway, it is approximately 10 minutes to the city center.
