Car
From Shimotsuke, take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) heading south towards Tokyo. After approximately 45 kilometers, merge onto the Shuto Expressway (E20) towards Ueno. Follow signs for the Asakusa Route and take the exit towards Sumida City. Once you exit, follow signs to Tokyo Skytree located at 1 Chome-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida City. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, generally ranging from 500 to 2000 yen depending on the duration.
Public Transportation
Start by taking the Shimotsuke City Bus or a local train to Utsunomiya Station. From Utsunomiya Station, board the JR Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) towards Tokyo Station. Disembark at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Sobu Line and take the train towards Chiba. Get off at Oshiage Station, which is the nearest to Tokyo Skytree. The entire trip will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and a one-way ticket will cost around 5000 yen for the Shinkansen and 200 yen for the Sobu Line.
