If you are driving to Mount Fuji, start from Hakone and get onto the Route 1 highway towards Odawara. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Fujinomiya exit. After exiting, follow the signs for Route 139, which will take you directly towards Mount Fuji. Keep an eye out for signs indicating 'Mount Fuji' or 'Fujinomiya'. The journey should take around 1 hour depending on traffic.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Fuji from Hakone using public transport, first take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. Once at Odawara, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and take a train towards Atami, getting off at Fujinomiya Station. From Fujinomiya Station, take a local bus heading towards Mount Fuji. The total travel time is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on transfer times.
