Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the Satta Pass area from central Suruga. You can use a GPS device or a navigation app and enter the address '937-13 Yuinishikurasawa, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka, 421-3115'. From Shizuoka Station, take the Route 1 highway heading towards Shimizu. After approximately 10 km, take the exit for Satta Pass. Follow the signs for Satta Pass Observation Deck. There is parking available at the observation deck, but be aware that there could be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach the Satta Pass Observation Deck using public transportation, start by taking a train from Shizuoka Station to Shimizu Station. This trip takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Shimizu Station, you can take a local bus (Shimizu City Bus) that goes towards Satta Pass. The bus ride will take roughly 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. You will get off at the Satta Pass stop, and from there it is a short walk to the observation deck.
