Jindaiji Temple, located in the tranquil suburb of Chofu, Tokyo, is a serene escape from the city's frenetic pace. The Shakka-do (Buddha Hall) is home to the Hakuhoh Buddha statue, a national treasure and the oldest Buddha statue in Eastern Japan, which is viewable only on the 8th of each month.Visitors can explore the temple grounds, discover serene ponds with koi carp and turtles, and enjoy the changing scenery with each season.
