Getting There

Public Transport

From Tokyo Station, take the JR Keiyo Line or JR Musashino Line to Maihama Station. The train journey is approximately 15-20 minutes and costs around ¥220-450 without a Japan Rail Pass. With a Japan Rail Pass, the train travel is covered. From Maihama Station, Tokyo Disneyland is a 5-minute walk.
Bus

Express buses operate from various locations in Tokyo, including Tokyo Station and Shinjuku Station, to the Tokyo Disney Resort Bus Terminal. The bus fare ranges from ¥700 to ¥850 for adults and ¥360 to ¥410 for children. The journey takes approximately 35-50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. From the bus terminal, it is a short walk to the park entrance.
Taxi

Taxis are available from central Tokyo to Tokyo Disneyland. The taxi fare ranges from ¥4,000 to ¥7,000, depending on traffic and the route. The journey takes approximately 25-30 minutes.
Disney Resort Line Monorail

The Disney Resort Line is a monorail that connects Maihama Station to all major destinations within Tokyo Disney Resort. A single ticket costs ¥260 for adults and ¥130 for children. Day passes are also available.

The park was constructed by WED Enterprises and designed to mirror both Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida.Tokyo Disneyland is owned and operated by The Oriental Land Company, which licenses intellectual property from The Walt Disney Company. This arrangement contributes to the park's unique character, blending classic Disney magic with Japanese cultural elements. The park encompasses 115 acres and features seven themed lands: World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Critter Country, and Toontown. Each land offers a distinct atmosphere with attractions, shops, and restaurants that enhance the immersive experience. Popular attractions include Pooh's Hunny Hunt, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek.Since its opening, Tokyo Disneyland has been a resounding success, drawing millions of visitors annually. In 1994, the park had already welcomed over 149 million guests, surpassing Japan's population at the time. The park continually introduces new attractions and entertainment to encourage repeat visits.
