Located in front of the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, the Unicorn Gundam statue is a spectacular sight that embodies Japan's vibrant anime culture. This nearly 20-meter-tall recreation of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn series draws visitors from across the globe.
Unveiled in September 2017, the statue replaced the RX-78-2 Gundam, quickly becoming a popular landmark. The Unicorn Gundam is more than just a static display; it transforms four times daily (11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM) from Unicorn Mode to Destroy Mode, accompanied by light and sound effects. In the evening, light shows take place every half hour between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, with anime clips projected onto the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.
The statue not only celebrates the Gundam series but also represents the fusion of technology and artistic expression. For Gundam enthusiasts, the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza also houses the Gundam Base Tokyo, offering a wide array of Gundam merchandise.

Public Transport
To reach the Unicorn Gundam statue, take the Rinkai Line to Tokyo Teleport Station or the Yurikamome Line to Daiba Station. From either station, it's a short 5-minute walk to DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, where the statue is located on the south side. A single journey on either line will cost approximately ¥200-400.
Bus
You can take a Toei Bus to DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. A direct bus from Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit to 武蔵野大学前will cost ¥210. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the Plaza
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Tokyo. A taxi from Shibuya to DiverCity Tokyo Plaza will take approximately 12 minutes and cost ¥5500-¥7000. A taxi from Tokyo Station will cost approximately ¥4400 - ¥5500.
