Car
If you are driving, head towards Kamakura. From Tajima, take Route 134 towards Kamakura. Once you reach Kamakura, follow signs towards Yamanouchi. Meigetsu-in is located at 189 Yamanouchi, Kamakura, Kanagawa 247-0062. There is parking available nearby, but it may require a fee, so be prepared for a small cost.
Public Transportation
To reach Meigetsu-in via public transportation, start by taking the train from Tajima Station to Kamakura Station. This journey usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Once at Kamakura Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take the bus heading towards Yamanouchi (look for line numbers that mention Yamanouchi). The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Yamanouchi bus stop, and Meigetsu-in is a short 5-minute walk from there. The total cost for the train and bus will be approximately 600-800 yen.
