Car
If you're traveling by car from the center of Tango, head towards Route 27, which will take you directly towards Nakatsugawa. Continue on Route 27 for approximately 45 kilometers. Once you reach Nakatsugawa, follow the signs for Kawaue. Turn onto Route 256, and after about 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Ryujin Waterfalls. The parking area is located near the entrance to the falls, but note that there may be a small parking fee, usually around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Tango to Nakatsugawa Station. The journey may require a transfer at a major station like Gifu or Matsumoto. Once you arrive at Nakatsugawa Station, you can take a local bus towards Kawaue. Buses run approximately every hour, and the fare is around 600 yen. Alight at the 'Ryujin Waterfalls' stop, which is close to the falls. From the bus stop, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the waterfall entrance.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nakatsugawa Station. This option is more expensive, usually costing around 3,000 to 4,000 yen, but it will take you directly to the entrance of Ryujin Waterfalls. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before departing.
