    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Tango to Tokyo Skytree, take the Route 178 highway heading east towards Kyoto. Merge onto the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway (E27) and continue for about 50 km. Take the exit towards the Kyoto Jukan Expressway (E1A) and follow signs for central Tokyo. Continue on the Shuto Expressway (C1) towards Koto. Exit at the Sumida area, following signs for Oshiage. Once you arrive at 1 Chome-1-2 Oshiage, you will find parking available at the Tokyo Skytree Town, which may incur a parking fee of approximately ¥500 per hour.

    Train

    To reach Tokyo Skytree from Tango using public transportation, first head to the nearest train station in Tango and take the JR Sanin Line towards Kyoto. Transfer at Fukuchiyama Station to the JR Takarazuka Line towards Osaka. Get off at Osaka Station and transfer to the JR Tōkaidō Line towards Tokyo. Once you reach Tokyo Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and travel to Oshiage Station. Tokyo Skytree is a short walk from Oshiage Station, located at 1 Chome-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida City, Tokyo. Ensure to check the fare for the entire journey, which can range around ¥5,000 to ¥10,000 depending on your transfers.

    Another option is to take a highway bus from Tango to Tokyo. Look for buses that operate from the Tango area to Tokyo Station.
