If you're driving from central Tango, head northwest on Route 178 towards Miyazu. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto Route 27 towards Nakanojo. Continue on Route 27 for about 50 kilometers. Once you reach Nakanojo, follow the signs to Iriyama. The highest point of Japan's National Routes is located near Iriyama, Nakanojo in Gunma Prefecture. There is parking available at the observation deck. Please note that tolls may apply on certain highways, so have cash or an ETC card ready for payment.

Start your journey by taking a local bus from Tango to Miyazu Station. From Miyazu Station, take the JR Kinki Bus towards Nakanojo. This bus route will take approximately 1.5 hours.
